enantioselective organocatalytic processes for the synthesis of
Oseltamivir derivatives. In this field the research was focused in
the develop of new methods for the organocatalytic alkylation with
carbenium ion, combining SN1 reactions and activation strategies
available in organocatalysis.

Mentor Prof. Diego Savoia. Asymmetric synthesis and application
of perazamacrocycles, in particular their use in enantioselective
catalytic processes and as NMR chiral solvating agents were
studied. Use of allylic alcohols as alkylating agents in the
Au-catalyzed enantioselective Friedel-Crafts-type reaction of
indoles.

Mentor: Prof. Reinhard Neier. Catalytic hydrogenation of
calix[4]pyrrole. The partially-reduced and full-reduced products
were employed as ligand of metal in catalytic reactions.
