Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry “Giacomo Ciamician” of the University of Bologna since 2022. He graduated with honours in Chemistry and obtained a PhD in Chemical Sciences from the same university. He carried out postdoctoral research at the University of Neuchâtel and the University of Bologna, where he has held research positions since 2016. His scientific activity focuses on the development of sustainable methodologies for organic synthesis, with particular emphasis on asymmetric catalysis, organocatalysis and photoredox catalysis. His current research concerns highly reducing photocatalytic systems, dual catalysis and stereoselective synthesis. He participates in national and international research projects and collaborations and is the author of numerous publications in international scientific journals.
