Dr. Andrea Ceciliani

Born in Terni (Italy) 17/4/1957, has achieved the following titles of study:

• He graduates in Physical Education ISEF (Physical Education Institute) in Bologna (Italy), in date 18/07/1979 with votes 110 and praise.
• He has obtained the specializaton for he teaching to the disable persons, Italian Ministry for Education - Provincial Scholl Office in Bologna (Italy), in date 20/06/1990 with votes 30/30
• He graduates in “Exercise and Sport Sciences” – obtained at University of Bologna (Italy), date 04/12/2000, with votes 110 and praise.

He is Full Professor at the Department for Quality Life Sciences- Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, in the Scientific Disciplinary Sector M-EDF/01 (Methods and didactics of motor activities).

He is teacher of TTD of motor activity for the developmental age at the School of Pharmacy, Biotechnology and Motor Sciences, both in Bologna and Rimini campus and in the courses of Primary Education Sciences of Bologna.

She is involved in research in the field of motor development in childhood, play and the influence of movement on emotional aspects in childhood, preventive and postural aspects in childhood. He studies different pedagogical strategies including Cooperative Learning and Outdoor Education and Learning.

He is currently Principal Investigator of the research unit of the University of Bologna (Department for Quality Life Sciences), within the Eumove Erasmus+ Project together with other European partners (Universidad di Castilla la Mancha, Universidad de Cadiz, Universitè Cote d'Azur, Universidad de LIsboa, Ulster University).

He has been a Teacher of Physical Education from 1979 to 2003 in Public School Institutions.

He has been assistant school headmaster from, 2001 to 2003 in a high school.

He has collaborated with ISEF of Bologna (High Institute of Physical Education), from 1983 to 2001, as a teacher of Theory, Technique and Didactic of Physical Education and Sport” .

He is a member of the Teaching Board of the Doctoral Program in Sciences and Culture of Wellness and Lifestyles (DOT1703795) from 2017 to present, previously, from 2011 to 2017,  member of the Unibo Doctoral Program (SOG0403935 - DOT0403935) of Research titled "Pharmacological and Toxicological Sciences, Human Development and Movement.

He is coordinator of the Erasmus mobility with the University of Telemark in Norway.

He has been  member of the Ministerial Commission of the MINISTRY of EDUCATION  to the definition of guidelines for physical education, physical activities and sports, in all orders of school.

He is consultant and teacher of the Regional School Office (Ministry of Education) for the updating of the primary school teachers in the context of the Physical Education and for the updating of Physical Education teachers of Secondary School.

He is consultant and teacher of the Council of Modena (Office of the Education: policies for children and the adolescence, university's relationships) for the training of the Teachers of Infancy School on the topic of Physical Education and Outdoor Education.

He is teacher of the CONI Regional School of Sport (Italian Olympic National Committee) for the training of the educational and technical staff of F.N.S. (Sports National Federations).

His research field refers to the development of abilities and skills in evolutionary age (with particular attention to the children's play observation), to preventive and posture aspects in evolutionary age and the effects of the pedagogical strategies (Outdoor Education and Learning, Cooperative Learning, Competence or Performance didactics approach) on the emotional and motivational aspects.

He has taken part, as speaker, in the following national and international events:
