Academic discipline: GERM-01/A Germanic Philology and Linguistics

Short Bio

Chair in Germanic Philology, my research fields take into account the presence of Germanic peoples in Italy (in particular Goths and Lombards), the medieval German culture and literature (Old High German and Middle High German), rewritings of medieval Germanic texts in modern and contemporary culture.

I am member of the Board of the LILEC and Department's delegate for Open Access.
