Vittorio Sambri

He has been PI and/or member of SAB for several different national and international (EU FP7) research projects, among which PREDEMICS and VECTORIE. He presently acts as PI of four on going research projects related to the development of new diagnostic test for COVID 19 and as co PI for four additional projects more clinically oriented. He has recently coordinated a research project (BSI_2015) dedicated to the clinical assessment of a novel molecular diagnostic methods for the microbiological diagnosis of sepsis that involved 300 patients. His work resulted in more than 210 scientific publications in international Journals. Dr Sambri was selected as a reviewer for many Journals. His reviewing activity (certified on https://publons.com/ ) was including in the last 24 months some 51 reviews for international peer reviewed journals .
