Short Bio

Vittorio Caporrella is research manager. He focuses on history didactics, dissemination, quality assurance.

After a PHD in contemporary history (Bologna University and Freie Universitat Berlin) focused on the history of language rights in Austrian-Hungarian schools, his works focused on Family History and History of education.

He teaches History Didactics (Master Degree "History and Oriental Studies") and he coordinates a research project focused on comparative analysis of history textbooks for secondary schools: : WHATSlab - What History AT School.

He has worked for several years in the production of textbooks for lower and upper secondary schools.

He is member of International Society of History Didactics (ISHD), European Association of History Educators (EuroClio), International Research Association for History and Social Sciences Education (IRAHSSE)
