Vincenzo Fano is Full Professor of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of Urbino, a scholar of History and Philosophy of Physics as well as of History and Philosophy of Psychology; his research has concentrated above all on the problem of the relationship between mathematical models, experience and reality. He is a full member of the Academie Internationale des Philosophie de la science and since 2021 President of the Italian Society of Logic and Philosophy of Sciences.
