Associate Professor of General Psychology at the University of Bologna. Her main research interests include emotion regulation, emotion recognition, attachment, social cognition, and interpersonal communication. In recent years, her research has focused on applying knowledge of emotional, cognitive, and interpersonal processes to the study of psychological well-being, quality of life, and adaptation in patients, university students, and healthcare professionals, as well as on the use of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) in clinical research and on the role of psychological processes in the education and training of healthcare professionals (medical education). She is involved in national and international research projects and collaborates with research groups in Italy and abroad. She has authored publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
