Valentina Ciriello

Valentina Ciriello is a Professor in Hydraulics at the University of Bologna since 2019. She authored more than 90 scientific publications, including conference proceedings and papers in international journals. Her research interests are model reduction and uncertainty quantification in fluid mechanics and hydrology. She serves as the national coordinator for a Research Project of National Interest (PRIN2022) focused on predictive forecasting and risk assessment for CO2 transport in pipelines. She also acted as a local coordinator for a Research Project (PRIN2017) on fluid dynamics to predict cardiovascular diseases and for the H2020 Project CLARA on climate forecast. Additionally, she is Associate Editor for Stochastic Environmental Research and Risk Assessment (Springer) and Journal of Hydrology (Elsevier). Go to the Curriculum vitae
