Post-Doc researcher at Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna.

Didactic tutor for Geological Sciences PLS, BiGeA Department. Didactic tutor for the course Stone Material Characterisation, M.Sc. in Cultural Heritage Conservation-Restoration Science.

He made his research in the fields of structural geology, tectonics and geodynamics. He uses a multidisciplinary approach, integrating low-temperature thermochronology, thermal maturity analyses on the sedimentary successions and thermal modelling of wells data with indicators deriving from stratigraphy, structural interpretation of seismic lines and structural analyses in order to reconstruct the tectonic evolution of selected portions of the Caucasian region. The study area comprises the Georgian side of the western Kura Basin, the Adjara-Trialeti fold-and-thrust belt and the southern-central Greater Caucasus.

Education

PhD degree obtained on June 17th 2022 at Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, thesis titled: "Subsidence history, thermal maturity, and structural inversion of the Greater Caucasus-Kura-Adjara-Trialeti basin system of central-eastern Georgia". Supervisor: Prof. William Cavazza; Co-supervisors: Prof. Massimiliano Zattin, Prof. Sveva Corrado, Dr. Andrea Schito. Final mark: Excellent cum laude.

Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences in 2015 and Master Degree in Earth Sciences in 2018, gained at Department of Earth Sciences "A. Desio" at the University of Milan.
