Tutor didattico per il PLS Scienze Geologiche del Dipartimento BiGeA. Tutor didattico per il corso Stone Materials Characterization, corso di laurea in Cultural Heritage Conservation-Restoration Science.
Ha svolto le sue ricerche nell'ambito della geologia strutturale, della tettonica e della geodinamica. Utilizza un approccio metodologico multidisciplinare, integrando termocronologia di bassa temperatura, analisi di maturità delle successioni sedimentarie e modellazione termica di dati di pozzo alle indicazioni fornite dalla stratigrafia, dall'interpretazione strutturale di linee sismiche e dalle analisi strutturali per ricostruire l'evoluzione tettonica di alcuni settori della regione caucasica. L'area di studio comprende la porzione georgiana del Bacino di Kura occidentale, la catena a pieghe e falde di Adjara-Trialeti e il settore centro-meridionale del Grande Caucaso.
Formazione
Dottorato conseguito il 17/06/2022 presso Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna con una tesi dal titolo: "Subsidence history, thermal maturity, and structural inversion of the Greater Caucasus-Kura-Adjara-Trialeti basin system of central-eastern Georgia". Supervisor: Prof. William Cavazza; Co-supervisors: Prof. Massimiliano Zattin, Prof. Sveva Corrado, Dott. Andrea Schito. Votazione finale: Eccellente con Lode.
Laureato in Scienze Geologiche nel 2015 e in Scienze della Terra nel 2018, con Lode in entrambi i casi, presso il dipartimento di Scienze della Terra "A. Desio" dell'Università degli Studi di Milano.
