Stefano Piastra (1977), PhD, is Full Professor at
the University of Bologna, Dept. of Education. A former Associate Professor at
Fudan University, Institute of Historical Geography, Shanghai, PRC
(2011-2014) and a former Adjunct Professor at UNEP-IESD, Tongji University, Shanghai (PRC), he
focuses his research on landscape
evolution, historical maps, Cultural Geography, Didactics of Geography, Sustainability Education. His
study-areas are Northern Italy (Gypsum Karst and Badlands zones, Po
River Plain and Delta) and East China.
