Molecular microbial ecology, soil microbiology, microbial
bioremediation of metal and organic toxic contaminated soil,
Plant-growth-promoting-rhizobacteria, development of molecular
tools to monitor and characterize aerobic soil bacterial
communities. Physiological and molecular mechanisms of bacterial
degradation of organic pollutants. Mechanisms of bacterial
resistance and detoxification of metalloids.
