Education

She graduated with honors (cum laude) with a Master's Degree in Digital Transformation Management in 2024 from Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, defending an experimental thesis titled "Deep Learning for Object Detection in Mobile Vision". Previously, in 2021, she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science for Management from the same University, defending a thesis titled "GiftFits: Android Mobile App for Social Wishlist Sharing". She further enriched her educational background by completing the "Blockchain and Digital Asset" master's program (MasterZ) in 2022 and achieving the international certification as a Scrum Master for Agile methodologies in 2021.

Professional and Applied Research Activities

Since 2022, she has been working in the Digital R&D department at Technogym, where she currently holds the position of Data Scientist. Her research activity focuses on technological innovation in the fitness and health sectors, leading the development of advanced solutions based on Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. She is the inventor of patented technologies in the fields of Computer Vision and Generative AI, having developed solutions for automatic workout recognition and digitization (Magic Blackboard™) and algorithmic architectures for highly dimensional personalized recommendation engines (Technogym Coach™). Furthermore, she is responsible for the scientific supervision of health assessment algorithms (Wellness Age™) and the implementation of data pipelines, vector embedding models, and LLM-based systems.

Teaching Activities

She will collaborate with Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna by conducting laboratory and teaching activities for the Information Systems Technologies course. Her goal is to bring her professional experience in technological innovation into the classroom, bridging the gap between academic research and industrial applications.
