Sofia Tortolini

After earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science for Management and graduating with honors in Digital Transformation Management from Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, she currently holds the position of Data Scientist at Technogym within the Digital R&D department. Her research and development activities focus primarily on Big Data, Generative AI, Agentic systems (LLMs), and Computer Vision applied to Wellness. During her corporate career, she has designed and implemented patented AI-based solutions, including automatic workout recognition systems and personalized recommendation engines, while also supervising the development of predictive algorithms for health. Alongside these activities, she will collaborate with the University for the laboratory and teaching sessions of the Information Systems Technologies course, bringing her professional experience in technological innovation directly into the classroom.
