Short Bio

Research Fellow at the University of Bologna, Ph.D. in Criminology at the Université de Montréal, focuses on research in the field of policing protest and institutional child sex abuse. Research interests include: the management of public order and the relationship with the authorities and the new medias; as well as institutional violence against minors. 

Since 2020 he is a member of the UNIBO team of the EU - Justice SAFE project "Supporting Action to Foster Embedding of child safeguarding policies in Italian faith led organizations and sports club for children". Work Program Part: Research and analysis, design of the child protection policy.

A. A. 2017/18 Professor of the class: "Sécurité intérieure: Nature et Mission" with teaching of internal security, police, public order, prevention and repression. Historical overview of the police. Responsibility, legitimacy and control of the police and security.

Member of the CICC (Centre International de Criminologie Comparée), the AICLF (Association Internationale des Criminologues de Langue Française) and the École de Criminologie of the Université de Montréal.
