Research

-          Protein crystallization and crystallographic study of their structure. Research topics: photosynthetic glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, ribosome-inactivating proteins from plants, amelogenin (major protein involved in enamel eukaryotes formation), crystallization of biological macromolecules using engineered surfaces.

-          Biomineralization: crystallization of calcium carbonate in collagenous matrices containing polyelettrolites.
