I am a senior assistant professor at the Department of Humanities – Languages, Mediation, History, Arts and Philosophy of the University of Macerata since November 2025. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Interlinguistic Communication (University of Trieste, 2012) and a Master’s degree in Interpreting (University of Bologna, 2015). I conducted research on conference interpreting during my PhD in Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies (2019) and during two postdoctoral research grants at the Department of Interpreting and Translation (DIT, Forlì, 2020–2022). I also participated as a postdoctoral research fellow in a project on the informalisation of English language learning through the media at the University of Salento (2022–2023). I was a junior assistant professor at DIT (2023–2025), working on a project on bilingualism. I am a member of AIA (Italian Association for the Study of English) and have taught as an adjunct lecturer and as a teaching tutor at university.
