Sara Zaniboni, PhD, is associate professor in Work and Organizational Psychology, University of Bologna. Her main research interests include diversity at work (e.g., age, disability, gender) - she leads a research group that studies how to manage and enhance diversity at work to achieve positive outcomes for both workers and organizations. Her research in this domain led to publications on refereed journals, keynote speeches, awards (e.g., 2015 an outstanding paper award, 2018 an outstanding author contribution award), and the participation in international research projects and in journal editorial boards (e.g., Work, Aging and Retirement). She is one of the main creators and organizers of the "Age in the Workplace Meeting”, a biyearly conference series that brought together the main experts from Europe, United States, Canada, Australia to develop a research agenda to address the aging workforce. She was a visiting researcher at the University of Essex, University of Sherbrooke, and Portland State University, and from 2021 she is adjunct/visiting professor at ETH Zurich.
