-Historical-anthropological research on migrant communities in contemporary China from a diachronic perspective, including through digitized tools in the PRC and Taiwan

-Historical-anthropological analyses of Hakka communities in Fujian, Jiangxi, Guangdong, and Taiwan, focusing on transformations of practices related to body and space, in the past, present, and in the diaspora.

- Gender studies: Chinese women yesterday and today, in rural and urban environment, and women's resubjectivations in the diaspora. The repositioning of women within/outside the Chinese family from the perspective of family ethics reformulation in current China. The representation of Chinese women in literature, poetry, multimedia


- Language education of Italian L2 to Sinophone, and Chinese to Italian speakers in the global context, onsite and online


- Translation, interpretation, LCM with a focus on linguistic-cultural mediation in the healthcare setting. Construction of multilingual thematic glossaries through corpora. Analysis of dialogic interpretation.

-New expressions and Sinophone subjectivities through multimedia art forms: music, film, contemporary art in China and in migration.
