Curriculum vitae

Research Fellow at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences (DISTAL) of the University of Bologna since July 2025 (formerly at the Interdepartmental Centre for Industrial Agrofood Research - CIRI-AGRO - since February 2024). She specializes in sensory food analysis and consumer behavior studies, focusing on sensory preferences and product acceptability in relation to psycho-attitudinal aspects (e.g., food neophobia, disgust, etc.).

Education

  • 2018: Bachelor’s Degree in Gastronomic Sciences (University of Parma).
  • 2020: Master’s Degree in Italian Food and Wine (University of Padova).
  • 2024 (June): PhD in Agrifood and Environmental Sciences (University of Trento), with a thesis titled "Insects in animal feed: a sociological evaluation of Italian consumer preferences for fish and poultry fed with alternative feed ingredients."

Academic Career

Appointed Research Fellow at CIRI-AGRO, Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna, since February 2024; later at Department of Agricultural and Food Science (DISTAL) at Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna, since July 2025.

Teaching Activities

Regularly supports laboratory-based courses in "Enology 1: Module A - Sensory Analysis with Laboratory Exercises" (BSc in Viticulture and Enology, University of Trento), "Food Production and Processing" (MSc in Agrifood Innovation Management, University of Trento), since 2021.

Regularly supports hands-on practice for courses in "Sensory Analysis and Food Preferences" (BSc in Economics and Marketing in the Agro-Industrial System, Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna) and "Commodity Science and Food Technology" (Bsc in Dietistic, Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna), since 2024.

Teaching tutor for "Food Production and Processing" (MSc in Agrifood Innovation Management, University of Trento), in the AY 2021-2022 and 2022-2023.
