Education

  • 1994 – "Laurea" (MA) with cum laude distinction in Portuguese Language and Literature, University of Florence.
  • 1998 - Ph.D. in Iberian Studies, Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, University of Bologna.

Academic Career

1998-99: Adjunct Professor in Portuguese Literature at the SSIT of the University of Trieste, in Portuguese Language and Literature at the University of Pavia, in Brazilian Literature at the University "Ca' Foscari" of Venice;
1999-2000: Adjunct Professor in Portuguese Language and Literature at the University of Pavia and in Brazilian Literature at the University "Ca' Foscari" of Venice.
2001-2004: Assistant Professor of Portuguese Language and Literature at the University of Bologna;
2004-05: Associate Professor of Portuguese Linguistics at the University of Bologna.

2005-2009: Member of the Academic Staff for the PhD program in "Iberistica" (Portuguese and Brazilian Literature) at the University of Bologna;

2010-2014 : Member of the Academic Staff for the PhD program in "Letterature Moderne, Comparate e Postcoloniali" (Area: Portuguese and Brazilian Literature) at the University of Bologna.
2014-2017 : Member of the Academic Staff for the PhD program in "Studi Letterari e Culturali" (Area: Portuguese and Lusophone Studies);
