Junior Assistant Professor (RTD-A) at the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering “Guglielmo Marconi” (DEI), University of Bologna, since 2023.
The research activity focuses on robotic manipulation and telemanipulation, human-robot interaction (HRI), electromyographic (EMG) and multimodal interfaces for robotic control, intuitive robot programming, wearable, assistive and prosthetic robotics, and the use of machine learning on wearable sensors for human intent estimation.
Education and Training
Master’s Degree in Automation Engineering from the University of Bologna, graduated with full marks (110/110 cum laude).
PhD in Biomedical, Electrical and Systems Engineering (2018), University of Bologna, within the "Automatic Control and Operational Research" curriculum, supervised by Prof. Claudio Melchiorri.
Visiting Scientist at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Munich, Germany, 2017-2018.
Academic Experience
Postdoctoral Research Fellow at DEI, University of Bologna, from 2018 to 2023.
