Roberta Bonetti has been a lecturer at the University of Bologna since 2006, where she teaches in undergraduate and graduate degree programs. She has also taught at various institutions in Verona, Florence, Padua, Bolzano, and Rome. She obtained the National Scientific Qualification (ASN) for Full Professor (11/A5 M-DEA/01).
She has taught Museum and Heritage Anthropology, History of Anthropology, and African Arts and Cultural Anthropology. She currently teaches Applied Anthropology, Anthropology of Learning and Education, Material Culture, Collaborative Processes, and Design Anthropology.
She is an active member of the Task Force on Anthropological Education and New Audiences of the WCAA, of the IUAES Commission on Anthropology and Education, and of the University Quality Assurance Board (PQA-TM).

She has conducted applied research in companies and educational contexts. Her work explores learning as a situated experience and as a space of inter-epistemological dialogue, bringing together anthropology of material culture, art, heritage, and design.
