Riccardo Campione is an Associate Professor of Private Law at the University of Bologna, where he teaches Private Law and EU Private Law, after earning a PhD in Civil Law and serving as a Researcher and Lecturer, including at the China-EU School of Law in Beijing. A Supreme Court-qualified lawyer and member of the Milan Bar, he specialises in corporate, commercial, antitrust, and insolvency law, with extensive experience in litigation and arbitration. His research and advisory work also focus on
artificial intelligence, particularly on issues of
AI governance, accountability, and data protection compliance. He is the author of more than eighty scholarly publications and serves as an Advisory Editor and independent referee for leading law journals. He coordinates the lecture series “Enterprise and Rules,” fostering dialogue between law and the digital economy.
