RESEARCH PROFILE
After an initial series of publications which focused on the
Generation of 1927, the mainstay of my literary research has been
my work on Federico Garcia Lorca and especially his prose
works.
At the same time I began work on Spanish Romanticism and on those
dramatists of the Eighteenth century whose work influenced the
theatre of the Nineteenth century.
Since 1995 my research has centred around three main areas which
also build on work done previously and on which I have published
extensively:
- The history of translation into Italian of Spanish works
- The works of Federico Garcia Lorca
- Information technology applied to literature
-Cervantes
