Short Bio

Full Professor in French linguistics at the University of Bologna from June 2021. She’s interested in: Terminology and translation of specialized texts (French-Italian), especially in a Gender perspective; French discourse analysis, with a special focus on International Organisations’ discourses; Lexical semantics.

She was the Director of the Research Centre for Women’s and Gender Studies (2009-2012) and of the Centre for Europe (2014-June 2021) at the University of Turin.

She’s a member of international networks, such as: the International Pan-Latin Terminology Network REALITER; the International Association LTT; the International Language Sciences Association ASL. She's currently involved in the Jean Monnet Research Center Artificial Intelligence for European integration and in the Lessico dei Beni culturali Research Unit.

Office hours

From 20 September 2021, the tecaher will receive students every Tuesday from 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. (except public holidays). The room for the in-person reception will be indicated as soon as possible. In the meantime, the reception will take place by Skype. You will need to send a message requesting a reception to the racheleraus address and wait for the teacher to call when you have reached your turn.
