Short Bio

Full Professor in French linguistics at the University of Bologna from June 2021. She’s interested in: Terminology and translation of specialized texts (French-Italian), especially in a Gender perspective; French discourse analysis, with a special focus on International Organisations’ discourses; Lexical semantics.

She was the Director of the Research Centre for Women’s and Gender Studies (2009-2012) and of the Centre for Europe (2014-June 2021) at the University of Turin.

She’s a member of international networks, such as: the International Pan-Latin Terminology Network REALITER; the International Association LTT; Terminology & Ontology: Theories and Applications – TOTH. She's currently involved in the PRIN Research projects of national interest Empowering Multilingual Inclusive Communication and is a member of Jean Monnet Research Center Artificial Intelligence for European integration and of the Lessico dei Beni culturali Research Unit.
