Short Bio

Son of deaf parents, degree in Modern Literature (1993) Università Statale of Milan, PhD in Education and Communication at the University of Milan Bicocca. From 2004 to 2012 he was  professor of Sign Language, History and Culture of the Deaf at the Department of Language Sciences of the Ca 'Foscari University of Venice, from 2005 to 2016 at the Bicocca University of Milan. From 2016 at DIT Dipartiment of intepretation and translation Università dii Bologna, Forlì. From 1994 to 2016 he was a consultant for the "Italian-Sign Language" Bilingual Project of the Cossato Scolar Institute. Former expert in Sign Language at the SGB FSS Swiss Federation of the Deaf and Pedagogical Director at the oto-logopedic Center Istituto Sant'Eugenio in Locarno (Switzerland) Designer and trainer in courses for sign language interpreters (Professional University School of Switzerland Italian (SUPSI), OPPI of Milan, Migros School Club, SSML di Fermo, Civica Scuola Interpreti e Traduttori “Altiero Spinelli” di Milano,).
