Teaching Italian as a second language, with particular reference to language education, spoken language teaching, adult and child learners' profiles, and teacher training.
Methods and processes of language teaching/learning, with particular reference to the relationship between teaching and formative assessment, approaches and methodologies of language teaching in universities (general language, academic speaking and writing).
Academic and institutional communication, with particular reference to institutional language policies, interaction between native and non-native speakers, in-service training in functional writing/speaking and professional interaction.
