Paolo Torroni

Paolo Torroni holds a PhD in Electronic and Information Engineering. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Bologna, where he leads the Language Technologies Lab and has directed the international master's degree in Artificial Intelligence. He authored over 200 publications in natural language processing, multi-agent systems, and computational logics, and has led research units in several national and international research projects. He has been a visiting fellow of the European University Institute, tutor of the School of Excellence of the University of Bologna, and served as an expert reviewer for several national and international funding agencies, area chair for IJCAI, action editor for the ACL rolling reviews, and associate editor for the Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research, Argument & Computation, Intelligenza Artificiale, and other international journals.
