Full Professor of Pedagogy and Social Pedagogy at the University of Bologna.
Research activity
she is interested in researching and exploring new meaning and setting of youth participation. She has already taken part to two international research projects on youth within the framework of the research network EGRIS. Her previous researchs are: the international project „Youth Policy and Participation“ (YOYO) (5th FP, 2001-04), the international project „Youth: Actor of Social Change” (UP2YOUTH) (6th FP, 2007-2009), the international project „Governance of Educational Trajectories in Europe” (GOETE) (7th FP, 2010-2013). Coordinator of the Tempus Project ALLMEET and the Horizon 2020 Project, Partispace: styles and spaces of youth participation in Europe. She participated in the Easmus + (capacity building) Entep -Enhancing teaching and learning in Russia and China. At the moment she is involved in the Horizon 2020 project: MERGING Housing for immigrants and community integration in Europe and beyond: strategies, policies, dwellings and governance (2020-203) and in the INTEgreat project (2021-2023) funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund.
Teaching activity
Since 2002 she has been regurlarly teaching in several pedagogical courses in different department of UNIBO. At the moment she teaches pedagogy,intercultural pedagogy and intercultural pedagogy and communication. She teaches also in the PhD doctoral degree in Pedagogical Sciences
She organizes and coordinate workshop on her main pedagogical topic.
