I. Education and Academic Qualifications

In December 2000, she graduated cum laude in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Bologna, with a thesis entitled “Public Employment Disputes.”

Since March 2005, she has held a PhD in Labour Law and Industrial Relations, with a doctoral dissertation entitled “Supplementary Collective Bargaining in the Public Sector” (supervisors: Prof. Mario Grandi and Prof. Clara Enrico).

From 15 October 2006, she was awarded a post-doctoral research fellowship in the field of Legal Sciences at the University of Bologna, for a research project entitled “Trade Union Rights and Prerogatives between Private Enterprise and Public Administrations”—a 12‑month fellowship, renewed for a further and final year from 15 October 2007 until 14 October 2008.

Since December 2008, she has been a Researcher (SSD IUS/07 – Labour Law) at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bologna, affiliated with the Department of Legal Studies “A. Cicu.”

In 2004, she qualified as an Attorney-at-Law before the Court of Appeal of Bologna.

II. Other Qualifications

Since 13 June 2001, she has been appointed Cultore della materia (Subject Expert) at the Faculty of Economics, University of Urbino.

Since the academic year 2001–2002, she has collaborated with the Chairs of Labour Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bologna, carrying out research and teaching assistance activities.

Academic Years 2004/2005 and 2005/2006: appointed tutor for the Faculty of Law – Degree Programme in Corporate Legal Operator (University of Bologna, Ravenna Campus – SSD IUS/07).

In 2005 (Call No. 1634), she was awarded a one-year research and training fellowship for activities of research, training and consultancy with the Trade Union Relations Office (RIUM) of the University of Bologna, starting from 4 July 2005.

Since the academic year 2006–2007, she has been a Cultore della materia at the Faculty of Law of the University of Parma.

From the academic year 2010–2011 to 2024–2025, she has been the official lecturer in Trade Union Law and Industrial Relations within the Degree Programme for Labour Consultants at the Faculty of Law, University of Bologna.

In the academic year 2016–2017, she taught Labour Law within the integrated courses:

  • Health Management Sciences and Forensic Medicine (Degree in Dietetics),
  • Human Sciences and Labour (Degree in Biomedical Laboratory Techniques),
  • Law and Health Management (Degrees in Neurophysiopathology Techniques and Medical Radiology Techniques),
    as well as the Labour Law module (A–C) within the Master’s Degree in Law.

From the academic year 2017–2018 to 2024–2025, she has taught Labour Law (course code 00224) in integrated courses for the Degree Programmes in Dietetics (module), Midwifery, Biomedical Laboratory Techniques, Neurophysiopathology (applied course from 2019–2020), and Medical Radiology Techniques – School of Medicine and Surgery, University of Bologna.

Master’s Programmes

Since 2016, lecturer in the Master’s Programme in Labour Law (MUDL), University of Bologna – Public Employment Regulation.

From 2016 to 2019, lecturer in the Master’s Programme “Coordination Functions for Healthcare Professions” (University of Bologna, Rimini Campus) – Employment relationships in the public and private healthcare sectors.

Since 2017, lecturer in the same Master’s Programme at the Bologna Campus.

Since academic year 2019–2020, lecturer in the Master’s Programme in Forensic Nursing (University of Bologna, Bologna Campus).

In November 2016, lecturer in the Master’s Programme in Labour Law and Social Security at “La Sapienza” University of Rome, on “The Problematic Application of the ‘Fornero Reform’ and the ‘Jobs Act’ to Public Employment.”

III. Participation in National and Local Research Projects

In November 2002, she participated in a working group established by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department of Public Administration, at the University of Bologna, for a study on “Public Sector Management within Different Institutional Models of Public Administrations: Legal and Contractual Aspects.”

In 2002, she contributed to the University of Bologna research project (ex 60% funds) “Labour Law and Globalisation of the Economy” (Principal Investigator: Prof. Franco Carinci).

In 2003 and 2004, she participated in research projects (ex 60% funds) “Labour Law and Constitutional Reforms” and “State Management and Public Administration Management: Legal and Contractual Profiles” (PIs: Prof. Franco Carinci and Prof. Sandro Mainardi; the latter extended to 2005).

Between 2005 and 2007, she was a member of the research group led by Prof. Franco Carinci for the project “Labour Law in the Europe of the 25.”

She was a member of the PRIN 2006 national research project coordinated by Prof. Franco Carinci.

In the first half of 2006, she contributed to the drafting of the “Public Employment Code” (collection of statutory and case law materials), coordinated by Dr. Valerio Talamo and published by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department of Public Administration, co-editing with Prof. Sandro Mainardi the section on flexible employment relationships.

Between 2006 and 2008, she continued her participation in the research project “Labour Law in the Europe of the 25.”

Between 2007 and 2009, she was a member of the research group working on “Labour Law within the System of Sources.”

She was a member of the PRIN 2017 project, nationally coordinated by Prof. M. Brollo and locally by Prof. C. Zoli.

She was a member of the PRIN 2022 research project “Hierarchy and Market in the Transformations of the Global, Digital and Robotic Firm: Metamorphoses of Employer Powers and Workers’ Rights” (Project Code: 2022RL5SSN), coordinated nationally by Prof. G. Proia and locally by Prof. A. Pizzoferrato.

IV. Additional Information

Since 2001, she has been a member of the editorial board of the journal “Il lavoro nelle pubbliche amministrazioni.”

She is a member of the Labour Law Research Centre “Giorgio Ghezzi and Federico Mancini,” as well as of the interdepartmental centres Alma Climate and the Alma Mater Research Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence.

She is a member of the “Bertinoro” Research Group (https://dsg.unibo.it/it/ricerca/gruppi-di-ricerca/gruppo-bertinoro).

She has collaborated on several editorial projects with publishers UTET, Giuffrè, Giappichelli and Ipsoa, contributing to leading commentaries and treatises in labour law and public employment law.

In 2007–2008, she contributed, together with Prof. Sandro Mainardi and Dr. Valerio Talamo, to the drafting of a comprehensive code of public employment law (statutory, contractual and case law), published by UTET (Turin, 2008), curating in particular the case law section.

2025–2026: collaboration in scientific research activities concerning labour law aspects of Provincial Law No. 7/1997, including support for legislative drafting (topics: management staff, recruitment procedures, lifecycle of employment relationships, collective bargaining). Purpose: to support and contribute to the work of the relevant Provincial Committee (PAT) and to the proposals for legislative revision and updating.
