PhD student in Cultural and Environmental Heritage. Scientific-disciplinary fields: L-ART/01, L-ANT/07. Fellowship on a restricted theme: 1. Cultural and environmental heritage - Memory, Protection, Rights. Understanding aniconic decoration between antiquity and Middle Ages: necessity and significance.

Research project: The power of absence. Aniconic decoration and visual culture in the longue durée of the ancient Mediterranean (from the Macedonian Kingdoms to the Macedonian Renaissance). Tutors: prof.ssa M.C. Carile, prof. G. Lepore.

Awards and associations

(January 2022) Winner of the 2021 edition of the Gregorio di Agrigento Prize for the best research on the "Valle dei Templi di Agrigento" Archaeological and Landscape Park. The prize aims to fully fund the edition of the best competing research.
