Teaching activity

Teacher of the course Refrigeration Technologies M in the Master degree programme in Energy Engineering from A.Y. 2022-23.

Teacher of the course Design Thinking in the Minor programme in Green Technologies for A.Y. 2021-22 and 2022-23.

Teacher of the course Technical Physics in the Bachelor degree programme in Prevention Techniques in the environment and in the workplace from A.Y. 2020/21.

Since 2016 he has been Didactic Tutor of various teachings within the Bachelor's and Master's Degree programmes in Energy Engineering, relating to Technical Systems T, Applied Thermodynamics T, Fluid Motion and Thermokinetics T, Building Energy and Thermotechnics M, Solar Systems and Geothermal M, Heat Transmission M, Thermofluidodynamics M.


In 2015 he was Teaching Tutor of the Bachelor in Energy Engineering.


Previous positions


- April 2020 - December 2021: Research fellow at the Department of Industrial Engineering (DIN) of the University of Bologna as part of the project: "Numerical and experimental tests on HVAC systems based on innovative air-to-water and dual-source heat pumps", funded by the PRIN 2017 FLEXHEAT research project.


- April 2019 - March 2020: Research fellow at the Department of Industrial Engineering (DIN) of the University of Bologna, within the project: "Dynamic simulations and experimental tests for the optimization of the energy performance of heat pump systems and fancoils".


- April 2018 - March 2019: Research fellow at the Department of Industrial Engineering (DIN) of the University of Bologna, within the project: "Theoretical and experimental analysis of the performance of hybrid solar panels".


- January 2017 - March 2018: Research fellow at the Interdepartmental Research Center (CIRI) Building and Construction of the University of Bologna, within the project: "Theoretical and experimental development of a dual-source heat pump based on a vapor-compression cycle", funded by the HEGOS Research Project (POR-FESR 2014-2020).


Formation

In June 2017 he obtained the PhD in Energy, Nuclear and Environmental Control Engineering at the University of Bologna (XXIX cycle), with an excellent grade, discussing the dissertation entitled "Dynamic modeling and seasonal performance evaluation of air-to-water heat pump systems".

In July 2013 he obtained the qualification to the profession of Industrial Engineer (section A).

In March 2012 he obtained the Master's Degree in Energy Engineering at the University of Bologna, with a grade of 110/110 cum laude, carrying out the thesis in Thermotechnics and Thermotechnical Plants entitled: "Identification of energy efficiency interventions through the energy audit of an industrial plant"

In October 2010 he obtained the Bachelor's Degree in Energy Engineering at the University of Bologna, with a grade of 110/110 cum laude, carrying out the thesis in Technical Plants entitled: "Analysis of cogenerative generation systems for space heating and the preparation of domestic hot water"
