Martina Zappaterra

Currently Senior Researcher (RTDB) in Animal Science, she carries out her teaching and research at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences (DISTAL) of the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna. In the past she has taught courses in Animal Husbandry in the Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Technology and in Morpho-Functional Assessment in the Bachelor's degree in Animal Production. She currently teaches Sustainable Monogastric and Ruminants Management in the International MSc in Precise and Sustainable Agriculture, and Basic statistics and experimental design in agri-food sciences in the DISTAL PhD Programme in Agricultural, Environmental and Food Science and Technology. She is currently the local PI of the PRIN PNRR MASTITOMIC project and collaborates with EFSA as an ISA expert.

Since November 2024, she has been appointed Delegate for Communication by the Director of the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences and Technologies.
