Short Bio

Dr. Marina Artese is an Italian Language Expert Teacher at the University Language Center of the University of Bologna. Marina completed her PhD in "Language and Culture, Policy, Education, and Training" at the University of Macerata, Italy, with a research project titled “Interactions and Identities in Italian L2 classes in Italian Universities”.
She has designed the Italian Orienting Test for learners of SL Italian and coordinated its team work. She is currently a member of the Unibo team of the Quality in Language Learning Project (QuILL), which is funded by the European Commission. The project aims to provide language lecturers in Higher Education the skills they need to identify, assess, use, and create digital and ICT-based language teaching sources.
Her research concerns identity co-construction in interactions, language and cultural education with a sociological approach.
