My research interests focus on English-Medium Instruction (EMI), multimodal and corpus-assisted discourse analysis, and the role of communication strategies (including gestures, disfluencies, and pragmatic choices) in academic settings. I am also interested in English for Specific and Academic Purposes (ESP/EAP), intercultural communicative competence, and the pedagogical use of data-driven learning. These interests inform my teaching across a range of disciplinary contexts, where language is approached as a key tool for knowledge access, intercultural communication, and the development of academic and professional skills.
