Research themes focus on psychological measurement and the comparison of complex statistical models applied to psychology:

1. Application of statistical models to the study of complex phenomena: epistemological aspects.

2. Advanced statistical techniques (in collaboration with Dr. Marco Scutari, Dalle Molle Institute – Department of Innovative Technologies, Lugano).

3. Perception of form and motion in typically developing children and children with developmental dyslexia (in collaboration with the Department of Clinical Neuroscience, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm: Prof. Jan Ygge, Prof. Tony Pansell, Dr. Hellgren).

4. Analysis of the efficacy of enhancement intervention protocols for neurodevelopmental disorders (in collaboration with Michela Candini, UNIBO; Chiara Valeria Marinelli, University of Foggia).

5. Analysis of eye movements in learning disorders and psychiatric patients (in collaboration with Tony Pansell and Davide Frattini, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm; and Patrizia Rosa Sant'Angelo, SPDC, Bufalini Hospital, Cesena).
