She conducts research in the field of psychometrics. Her research interests focus particularly on the application of descriptive and inferential models to the study of eye movements, perception, and measurement in neuropsychology; the development, validation, and standardization of assessment tools for neurodevelopmental disorders; and the comparison of statistical models (cluster analysis, machine learning, chaotic models, Bayesian models) for studying psychological phenomena. She heads the Psychometrics and Neuropsychology Laboratory within the Department of Psychology. She is a member of the BoostPerception research group—alongside Professors Sara Giovagnoli, Sara Garofalo, and Michela Candini—and the DeduTech2-life group, with Professor Elvis Mazzoni and Professor Martina Benvenuti.
