The experimental lab in Bologna: a road to explore human behavior
The Bologna Laboratory for Experiments in the Social Sciences is a center for behavioral research. A team of scholars from the Department of Economics regularly conduct experiments with volunteers to test models of behavior and uncover pattern that emerge from our economic and social interactions.
The lab was founded by Marco Casari in 2010 through an ERC grant to carry out a project to map social norms of cooperation in the South and the North of Italy, and has since branched out in many directions.
