Manuela Fabbri is Associate Professor in Didactic and Special Educational Department of Education Studies “Giovanni Maria Bertin”, University of Bologna. She’s member of SIPED, the Italian Society of Pedagogy, member of SIREM, Società Italiana di Ricerca sull'Educazione Mediale; member of CKBG,Collaborative Knowledge Building Group. Her research and teaching is geared mainly to two disciplines: Didactic and and Technology Education. Didactic activity: She is teaching Educational Technology at the first level degree Social educator, Department of Education, in Bologna and in Rimini Campus; she is teaching General Didactics and Special Education at the second level degree in Mathematics, Department of Mathematics, University of Bologna.Associate Professor in Didactic and Special Education, Department of Education, University of Bologna. Research activities: From October 2009 she is part of the research group of the project inclusive school, in pursuit of educational inclusion in the educational system of the Republic of El Salvador.The project is funded by the Italian Foreign Ministry and by the University of Bologna. From September 2009 she has taken part into the Ministry of Education's project Cl@ssi 2.0 as referred University for the selected classes in the Emilia-Romagna region: the project intends to experiment the introduction of ICT in the daily didactic. From June 2009 she partecipates to the project FIRB L4ALLLearning for all" a multi-paradigm, multi-channel and multy-technology approach to innovative pedagogy. From January 2009 she in part of the Scientific Committee of CESAF, The Centre for Studies and Higher Education on addiction. From September 2007 to August 2008: she was grant researcher in Didactic in the field of E-learning as learning environment, scientific responsible Prof. Luigi Guerra From 2006 to 2007: Post Doc in Didactic in the field of E-learning From May 2005 to December 2006 she collaborated in SINAPSI Project 1 and 2 with Alma Mater Foundation in order to design the learning community, monitor and evaluate the web community, create a newsletter, monitor and evaluate the continuous education, elaborate tools for the evaluation of the project, data analysis. June 2004: PhD in Didactic in the field of 'Empowerment and new tecnologies' Main research fields: 1.       E-learning environments and learning objects 2.       Technologies in everyday childhood 3.       Educational innovation and ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) 4.       Socio-constructivist learning and social networking 5.       New technologies and inclusive learning environments 6.       Empowerment and new technologies for the prevention and treatment of addiction
