Curriculum vitae

"Ricercatore confermato" at the University of Bologna since 2004, I carry out my research in the fields of Microeconomics, Industrial Organization and Law and Economics. I currently focus my research on Regulatory and Antitrust issues regarding price and quality competition in vertically differentiated markets in which complementary goods are exchanged, with particular reference to the pharmaceutical and digital goods markets and to two-sided markets organized through digital platforms.

Academic Position

Ricercatore Confermato at the University of Bologna since 2004 (SECS/P01 Economics). After a long experience with the Department of Economics,  my current affiliation is with the Department of Sociology and Business Law of this same University.

 

Teaching Activity

Since 2004 I have been continuously teaching various courses within the Bachelor's and Master's Degree Programs of the School of Political Sciences and of the Department of Sociology and Economic Law of the University of Bologna. I am currently professor of "Antitrust in the Financial Sector" for the Master's Degree Program in Law and Economics  - LEIF curriculum,  of "International Economics" for the Master's Degree Program in Law, Economics and Governance, and of Essentials of Economics for the Degree Program in Social Work at the University of Bologna.

 

Research Activity

I am involved in several research projects, and I am the author of various publications in national and international journals. I am also Referee of international and Italian journals in the field of Microeconomics, Industrial Organization and Law and Economics.

 

Other Activities

I am  "Adjunct Professor of International Economics" for the Johns Hopkins University, SAIS Bologna Center. I have been Professoral Lecturer for the K. Robert Nilsson Centre for European Studies, Dickinson College, Bologna.
