Luciano Cavani

Associate Professor of Agricultural Chemistry at the University of Bologna. His research interests include soil fertility, soil quality, sustainable fertilization strategies, and the recycling of bio-based residues in agriculture. His work focuses on understanding how agronomic practices affect soil functionality, nutrient dynamics, and ecosystem sustainability. He currently contributes to several Horizon Europe projects addressing soil health, circular bioeconomy, and sustainable fertilizer production, and has published extensively in international peer-reviewed journals.
