I am currently focusing on identifying events that characterise life courses at old ages and examining their connections with individual characteristics and their past experiences related to work, family, relationships, and health.
I am also involved in mortality research, with a specific focus on premature mortality and its quantification. My interest lies in understanding the connections between mortality and life span variation. I am actively engaged in indirect estimation of mortality rates, utilising life expectancy at birth, and improving the accuracy of the Siler model estimates.
Looking ahead, my future goal is to analyse the impact of climate change on mortality, exploring its potential effects on population health.
