Univ. Firenze, Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia (2000): Arts degree «cum laude». Thesis in Greek Literature entitled «Saggio di commento agli epigrammi di Stratone di Sardi».

Univ. Udine (2000-2003): PhD in Filologia dei testi antichi e medievali (ciclo XVII) completed under the supervision of Prof. A. Guida. Dissertation entitled «Gli epigrammi di Stratone di Sardi. Introduzione, testo critico e commento».

Visiting Graduate Student (2001 and 2003): Univ. Cambridge, Faculty of Classics. Research project on Strato of Sardis supervised by Prof. R.L. Hunter and Prof. C. Austin.
