Lucia Floridi

Lucia Floridi is Associate Professor of Greek and Latin Philology in the Department of Classical Philology and Italian Studies at the University of Bologna.

Her main research interests include Greek and Latin epigram, with a particular focus on the erotic and scoptic genres, Hellenistic poetry, early Imperial Greek prose, the relationship between literature and visual arts, the classical tradition, and the status of women in the ancient world (she served as local unit coordinator for the PRIN 2022 project "WInGS - Women Intellectuals in Greek Society").

Since May 2021, she has been Delegate for Internationalisation for the Department of Classical Philology and Italian Studies at the University of Bologna.
