Luca Bernardi

Since 2014, Luca Bernardi has been Associate Professor at the University of Bologna. Research and teaching activities touch different aspects of organic chemistry, such as asymmetric synthesis, green chemistry, and the valorization of marine biopolymers (“Blue chemistry”, in collaboration with Dr. Nathalie Tanchoux, CNRS Montpellier). He has been involved in several industry-oriented projects and has served as national coordinator of the PRIN2020 project "Natural products-assisted organic synthesis". He is member of the Editorial Board of Catalysts, co-editor of the Wiley book ″Methodologies in amine synthesis: challenges and applications″ and has published >100 articles (h-index 44).
