Fixed-term Researcher in Tenure Track L. 79/2022 at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences, Academic discipline: AGR/16 AGRICULTURAL MICROBIOLOGY since November 2023. His research activities mainly concern the use of non-conventional natural antimicrobials, the study of traditional and innovative technologies for the deactivation of pathogenic and spoiling microorganisms and for the improvement of the quality and shelf-life of food products. He currently focuses his research mainly on the valorization of food processing by-products by biotechnological approches. Involved in national and international research projects, he collaborates with several Italian and international research institutes and industries. Author or coauthor of 53 printed publications in scientific journals with an international review committee.
