Born in Bologna on 1974, 10th March. She obtained a degree in
Medicine and Surgery in 1999, University of Bologna. In 2003 she
specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, University of
Bologna.
Since 2006 she has been a Researcher in Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation at Medicine and Surgery Faculty of Bologna
University.
She gives several Courses in Medicine and Surgery Faculty at
Bologna University.
Since 2008 she has been a Medical Director at the Movement
Analysis Laboratory of Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli, where she has
collaborated to many research projects related to movement analysis
techniques, joint biomechanics, and functional evaluation of
patients with orthopedic, rehabilitative and neurological
problems.
She has been a physiatrist at the Rehabilitation Medicine
Department of the Madre Fortunata Toniolo Clinic in Bologna.
Working in a Sport Rehabilitation Center, she became experienced in
the fields of athletes rehabilitation and performance training.
Since 2005 she has been a member of the Italian Movement
Analysis Society (SIAMOC).
She presented several presentations at national and
international meetings. She is author of 40 publications in
national and international journals and books.
