12/11/1993                         Laurea in Industrial Chemistry summa cum Laude, University of Bologna, Italy, under the supervision of Prof. Antonino Fava.

01/11/1994-31/10/1997:    Ph. D. in “Chemical Sciences”, University of Bologna, under the supervision of Prof. Giuseppe Bartoli.

12/1997-03/1999               CIBA Speciality Chemicals S.p.A. grant, Dep. Organic Chemistry "A. Mangini", University of Bologna, supervisor Prof. Alfredo Ricci.

Currently her research interests focus on organic materials for molecular electronics, in particular on OLED, solar cells and gels.

Her research interests include:

¬     Organocerium reagents in organic synthesis

¬     The reduction of various classes of functionalized ketones for the synthesis of complex stereodefined alcohols;

¬     Study and use of the CeCl3·7H2O/NaI system as Lewis acid in organic synthesis; i

¬     New applications of metal perchlorates as efficient Lewis acid in organic synthesis,

¬     Asymmetric organocatalysis.

¬    104 scientific publications (peer reviewed )
